Us under fire over airport security crackdown

(AINA) At least 27 people were killed and more than 80 injured in clashes at the country’s most sensitive airport in Cairo on Tuesday, the interior ministry said.

In a statement, the ministry said dozens of people were killed on Monday when riot police opened fire on demonstrators near the airport compound.

Egyptian authorities have faced criticism for their handling of protests since the army deposed President Mohammed Morsi in July.

Protesters and supporters clashed at Al-Azhar University in Cair텍사스 홀덤o on Wednesday night, setting many buildings on fire, with police using tear gas and water cannons to disperse the crowds.

Some 20,000 people marched through Cairo’s streets on Wednesday, including some of those who turned out to march in support of the Muslim Brotherhood.

On Tuesday night, some of the victims of Tuesday’s clashes in Cairo were identified as the parents of the six men who were killed in a police raid on their family’s Tahrir Square해운대안마 compound over the weekend베스트 카지노.

Authorities said Wednesday night that they arrested eight more people during the raid, which authorities characterized as a “terroristic incident.” Four others, police and supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood are also on the run.
